A Carnival of animals

An eclectic mix of creature-based choral works including Horovitzí evergreen cantata Captain Noah and his Floating Zoo, the crazy Animal Crackers by Eric Whitacre, and Saint-Seansí Carnival of the Animals arranged for piano duet, alongside madrigals and songs by the likes of Gibbons, Lassus, Stanford and others celebrating all things zoological.

We are delighted to be joined by pianists Yoon-Seok Shin and Matthew McCombie:
Award-winning South Korean Pianist Yoon-Seok Shin graduated from the Royal College of Music and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Dance and Music, London studying under Andrew Ball and Philip Fowke.
Pianist Matthew McCombie engages in a wide range of activities including performing as a soloist and accompanist, collaborating with composers, and educational work. Matthew regularly travels internationally and has performed with leading conductors.
